the world is the card of a chapter that has come to its end, and it falls on a saturday, the day there is time to walk around the house and notice who it was arranged for.
many women reach a point where one big role is complete. the children are raised, the career has wound down, the caring has ended, the marriage has changed shape. the work was done, and done well.
and then comes a strange gap. the role was so large that it had become most of the answer to who are you, and with it complete, the question is suddenly open again.
this card reads that gap as an arrival. finishing something properly is an achievement, and the person who finished it is still here, with everything she learned on the way, free to decide what the next chapter is about.

what is worth leaning into today: letting yourself feel proud of what is complete, before rushing to fill the space it left.
what is worth staying away from: introducing yourself only by what you used to do. the past tense is accurate, and it is a small part of you.
my advice for today: finish this sentence on paper: these days i am someone who. write as many endings as you can, and leave out anything you used to be.

Apparently they both attended this “school” that’s still in existence today.
Apparently this school taught them the key to their power.
